The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor is discussing with the Peace Paths Foundation the implementation of training workshops to enhance security and build peace.

The Director General of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in Al Mahrah Governorate, Faiz Ali Suhail Balhaf, discussed with the Executive Director of the Peace Paths Foundation, Obaid Waked, ways to cooperate to implement training workshops within the framework of the "Community Cohesion and Participation" project, which aims to train law enforcement officers and community committees to enhance security and peace in the governorate.


During the meeting, the Director of Social Affairs and Labor welcomed the Foundation's delegation, praising the importance of training projects in strengthening local community capacities and achieving stability and sustainable development. Fatima Kalshat, the project coordinator in Al Mahrah Governorate, reviewed the project's most prominent activities and future plans, particularly in the areas of peacebuilding and raising community awareness.


The Executive Director of the Peace Paths Foundation indicated that the project will begin implementing two training workshops in the city of Al Ghaydah within the next two days, targeting 40 participants from security personnel, community committees, and neighborhood leaders, to enhance their skills in dealing with security challenges and building social cohesion.


He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the local authorities for their support and cooperation, stressing that this support is a fundamental pillar for the project's success and the achievement of its goals of enhancing security and stability in the region.
